Humaun Kabir is a visionary computer science postgraduate from Bangladesh. He has been working envisioning SDGs 4, 5 and 8 for bringing school students from remote areas and university girls into the ICT sector for several years. He coordinated competitive programming contests, datathons for girls and high school students nationally. He has co-led projects aiming to achieve SDG5 and SDG8 in Bangladesh to foster the participation of women in the tech industry. His research interests lie between natural language processing and deep learning.
He is a Fellow at International Telecommunication Union ITU and contributing as a Youth leader at Generation Connect – Asia and the Pacific Region and invited to the first ever Youth Summit in Rwanda and ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in Romania. He has pitched on ITU Council 2023 and nominated to Asia Pacific Seeds for the Future 2023, China.
He is a winner of the International Open Doors Olympiad 2020-2021 and an engineer focused on backend development and intelligent stuff, especially natural language processing.
Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology – MIPT and working in the domain of natural language processing.
