About

Humaun Kabir is a technology enthusiast and aspiring computer science grad from Bangladesh. He has been working envisioning SDGs 4, 5 and 8 for bringing school students from remote areas and university girls into the ICT sector for several years. He had participated in around 10+ national-level programming contests in ICPC, NCPC and IUPCs in undergrad. Besides, he also coordinates competitive programming contests for girls and high school students nationally. He has co-led projects aiming to achieve SDG5 and SDG8 in Bangladesh to foster the participation of women in the tech industry.

He is a Fellow at International Telecommunication Union ITU and contributing as a Youth leader at Generation Connect – Asia and the Pacific Region and invited to the first ever Youth Summit in Rwanda and ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in Romania.

He is a winner of the International Open Doors Olympiad 2020-2021. He is a software engineer focused on backend and intelligent stuff especially natural language processing. He writes code in Go, C++ and Python. He loves to travel and has already traveled to 51 cities in home and abroad.

Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology – MIPT.
